I’m gasping for breath in this video because it opens in Tibet at the Drigung Til monastery, which is situated at an altitude of 15,400 ft. Oxygen was definitely hard to come by! . In Tibet, I offered to help a family build a house, and after they put me to work carrying big baskets of mud on my back, they insisted I share some scary looking home made brew. In Nepal, on a dare I ended up running a shop I knew nothing about. In Sudan, I learnt how to find a husband, and in Uganda I met survivors of Joseph Kony’s Lord’s Resistance Army.
